£4,000 to be won.
Three grants for Spark members to create new work of their choosing. Any creative field. Tell us what you want to make, why it matters to you, and why it matters for the world.
How it works
Build your portfolio on Spark
Applications are judged alongside your work, so your Spark profile needs a portfolio of at least five pieces before you apply. The fuller your portfolio, the stronger your application. No profile yet? Create one in minutes.
Apply in 200 words
Describe what you want to create, why it is important to you, and why it is important for the world. That is the whole application.

The details
Spark members aged 18 or over with a portfolio of at least five pieces of work on their profile. All creative fields are welcome. One application per person. A fuller portfolio strengthens your application.
Groups apply through one lead member, who lists all collaborators in the application. The prize is paid to the lead applicant, who is responsible for the group's share of it.
Applications are judged on merit by the Spark team: the strength of the idea, what it means to you, and what it offers the world, read alongside the work on your profile. The judges' decision is final.
11:59pm UK time, 9 November 2026. Winners are announced on Spark within two weeks of the deadline.
£2,000, £1,200 and £800, paid by bank transfer to the winning applicants. The grant funds the creation of the proposed work.
You keep full ownership of the work you make. By applying you give Spark permission to feature your application and, if you win, the finished work on Spark and in Spark's channels, always with full credit.
